A brash attempt to inform oneself of the brain’s topography via internet
reveals a large collection of images which, to an untrained eye, have many
discrepancies, leaving the average Google-searcher in dismay.
The desire to understand the human brain on a basic level has inspired me
to create a novice directory of the brain’s topography, including the primary
function and location of its most fundamental parts.
This app consists of an illustrated brain, a hierarchal list of 28 parts,
and the according definition. Upon selecting an element from the list,
the corresponding colored region appears within the illustration as well
as its definition beneath it.
Through this system, one is quickly acquainted with an essential overview of the human brain.
